What is safety toughened glass?

Toughened glass – also known as tempered glass – is up to five times stronger than regular glass. This is achieved by heating regular glass at high temperatures (650°C) and then cooling very quickly. This process makes it tougher and up to 400% or 500% more resistant to heat and shock than ordinary glass. Toughened glass is specially treated so that it will break into small, blunt pieces under pressure, making it much safer than shards of normal glass.

Is your glass toughened glass which complies with Australian Standards?

Yes, all our glass panels are premium Grade A safety toughened glass and certified with the Australian Standards by SAI GLOBAL. The license number is printed on our package and marked on each panel when it is manufactured to meet relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

Will a standard 1200 x 900mm or 900 x 900mm shower screen fit on a shower base?

It is advisable with any job to measure for the actual screen required once base and walls are finished. The sizes we list for our screens are the actual sizes supplied. Only the person who is measuring the job site can determine the actual size of the screen that will fit.

Can I cut toughened glass to suit my requirements?

No, the toughened glass CAN NOT be cut and re-worked. Any modifications or alternations made on toughened glass will invalidate your warranty with immediate effect.

 What is the best way to clean my shower glass and hardware?

The best way to keep your shower screen clean is to wipe the screen by using warm soapy water after every use. Use a soft towel to dry the hardware and use a straight rubber blade to wipe to glass.

What if my shower wall is not 100% straight?

There is adjustment within the wall profile to allow for this and the adjustment available for each product varies across the Complex range of products.

Do the Semi frame-less screens come in 1 or 2 packages?

Each shower screen comes in a different quantity of boxes depending on the particular product ordered. There is no standard box quantities.
